Marcella Kimber

Marcella has been cheerleading for 11 years, competing in cheer, jazz, and pom. In 2019, she became an ICU World Champion and later placed 12th at IASF Worlds with PSC Gemini IO5. She currently works as a secondary school dance teacher and head of year. Her coaching journey began as a junior athlete, and she has since completed coaching qualifications up to Level 5.

As a child, Marcella was a gymnast competing in sports acrobatics while also training in a variety of dance styles. She discovered cheerleading at university while studying for a degree in Musical Theatre. With experience competing across all levels of cheer from 1 to 5, Marcella has been proud to be part of several fantastic programmes across the country. Her favourite parts of a routine are pyramid and dance, especially when she can bring in some sassy motions and expressive facials.

Marcella is incredibly excited to begin coaching at JLDC, sharing her experience and knowledge. She looks forward to meeting everyone and creating amazing routines while helping athletes progress and develop their skills.
